And if there were a God...What would I say? "Help me...I am lost.Give me the strength and the courage and the integrity and the intelligence and the correct intentions to add my little grain ofpositive sand in the desert of the Sahara."And that little grain of sand...what mounds of distress cover it.The small humiliations of childhood still rise - like blisters from asurprised burn - whenever anything reminds me -even in my unconscious of THAT.And whatever THAT is - each of us have it.Most people are not really interested in exploring the contents ofothers blisters....but there are a few of us who know that a soothingword from a "mother or a father" can make the blister heal.A smile, a touch, a loving word can even push away that mound ofdistress....and voila - we see the grain of positiveness - the lightof hope in the darkness and confusion of our world.That horrid feeling of being alone, abandoned, misunderstood.....is replaced by a warmth from that smile, that touch, that loving word.And if we give it generously....a little miracle occurs....it ismirrored. And in return we get a smile, a touch and maybe a lovingword....and life has order again and hope.So that's what I am going to do today.....Come out of my darkness, my confusion and do the work...Listen, smile, touch, and loveSo if there is a God… ...today I say "Let's get to work!"
